Train Ride to the Sacred City. The first rays of the soft sun hits the clean white walls of the Dalada Maligawa. Malwathu and Asgiri buddhist monks are conducting their early morning worship to the sacred tooth of Lord Buddha. Rhythemic Pali and Sanskrit chanting swipes across the silent air filling the ears of the faithful devotees with flowers in their hands.
